There's the story, but to give you the Readers Digest version, some of Ford of India's engineers were at the Calspan test facility making notes on how to build one of their own back home to make cars that will pass US crash standards. If that doesn't mean that Ford plans on importing some Indian cars, I don't know what does.
So what does this mean for the American and international auto industry? Are all big companies going to start platform sharing across continents? Does this mean an end to "Europe gets those cars, American gets these cars"? Just looking for some other opinions.
